Leah Senior – Piano
Having recently moved to the south coast, renowned songwriter and educator Leah Senior has joined P-12 as our new piano teacher. After graduating from a Bachelor of Music Performance, Leah has spent the past decade performing her music, teaching and facilitating songwriting workshops.
She has released three albums and toured nationally and internationally, playing festivals including Queenscliff Music Festival, Golden Plains and Port Fairy Folk Festival. She has been nominated for the Australian Music Prize and The Age Music Victoria awards multiple times. Leah has spent the past 5-6 years sharing her passion for music with her students at Coburg High School.
Previous to this, Leah has taught at various primary schools, worked as a songwriting facilitator for organisation Wild At Heart and a guest lecturer at Melbourne Polytechnic. Leah enjoys playing a variety of genres and loves fostering curiosity and creativity in her students.
